Having outgrown its space in the McNamara Alumni Center, the University of Minnesota Presidents Club display of copper plaques on a wall was in need of redesign. LA ink designed an elegant, graceful and timeless donor wall system that is flexible and expansible. Occupiing the same space as the previous display, it seamlessly integrates and complements the building’s interior architecture. A flowing display of edge-lighted, carved and etched glass panels not only adds dramatic visual interest, but increases the surface area, thus allowing for more names to be displayed in the current space.
Donor names are carved in Starphire glass panels, which are edge lighted with low watt LEDs,
and positioned in front of etched art on bronze tinted glass.
