You should know the field house art turned out even better than we imagined.
I wish you were there to hear the wonderful responses from our community members when they see it for the first time.

A special word of commendation and appreciation to you!! Your passion for the project as well as your respect of history, authenticity, and grasp of the scope, and depth of one of the most comprehensive universities in the country is inspiring. It is truly extraordinary work. Thanks again for helping us create a great space and story on this campus, but also for your highly effective efforts in championing and marketing the project both to the researchers and their heirs, mentees, etc., but also to the University community. Bravo! It is a privilege to have you as a colleague in this important enterprise.

Drew-
Again, I want to say how truly impressed everyone has been with the work you did at the Leonard Center. I wish you could get to see people’s faces when they first look up in the Atrium and see the mobile. And then when they get close up to the flags in the Field House. Guaranteed you’ll hear - wow, awesome, amazing, beautiful - or some combination like that. A lot of people have commented that they’re really pleased that Macalester decided to really do the public art and the Hall of Fame area right. (I don’t know if you ever saw the wooden plaques that were the old Hall of Fame. Yeah .... big improvement!!)

Thanks,
Deb

I would say you hit a "grand slam" with the Coeur de Catherine wall mural. I've only seen a fragment of the installation, but what I saw looked fantastic.
It is currently hidden under a black curtain waiting to be revealed to the community on Friday afternoon. I can not imagine anyone not loving it. I hope you are equally pleased with it...I know you worked very hard on making it just right.

Thanks!

Hi Drew,
Feel free to give guided tours of this magnificent project to any prospective clients you may have. It is truly a wonderful piece and only made possible by your inexhaustible attention to detail and managing all the parties involved. Yes, there were moments of doubt and of truth throughout but what a beautiful wonder it is!! Thanks, a million times, thanks.

Drew,
Once again, you’ve done a beautiful job! The murals are outstanding.
Hopefully, one of these days we can do something in the HHH and Lindbergh
terminals. You are very persistent and it will pay off.

Thanks,

Jeff

A special thanks for printing out and delivering the graphic of the Washington
Ave. Bridge. It's already been shown to the Institutional Relations board (they
LOVED it) and it will be shown at the central “Take Pride in U” committee
meeting today.
As always, your work and your service are outstanding.
