The Minnesota Medical Foundation’s donor recognition display of brass plaques in the Phillips-Wangensteen Building had been rendered obsolete by LA ink’s redesigned, etched and carved, edge-lighted glass Presidents Club display in the McNamara Alumni Center. The foundation’s desire was to use the space vacated by the former display to highlight the University of Minnesota’s efforts to solve great medical and public health challenges in cancer, brain sciences, children’s health, diabetes, heart and lung health, and to ultimately save lives. The Minnesota Medical Foundation partnered with LA ink to design and create an elegant display to showcase what is made possible by the philanthropic gifts to the foundation.
Not only is the display itself wonderful, it integrates nicely with what else is going on in the space."
